WDOD (1310 AM) is a radio station serving the Chattanooga area. The station is owned by Bahakel Communications out of Charlotte, North Carolina, and currently has an oldies/adult standards/soft AC format.
WDOD is the oldest radio station in Chattanooga, having gone on the air in 1925.
The station is co-owned along with CHR WDOD-FM 96.5, AC WDEF-FM 92.3, and Sports Talk WDEF-AM 1370.
The center tower fell the night of Sunday, June 24, 2007. The station was off the air briefly but returned to the airwaves soon thereafter.
