[edit] Your Message Re: WFME-TV

"Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles, as you did to WFME-TV. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" is strongly discouraged. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. It is probably important to note as well that your username implies a connection to WFME. WCQuidditch ☎ ✎ 21:30, 19 May 2008 (UTC)"

1. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. 2. Adding facts to the site is not promotional or advertising. 3. Wikipedia exists to expand knowledge. Controlling information and deleting factual information defeats the purpose of Wikipedia and infringes on fundamental human freedoms. 4. You need to specifically state what information you found promotional or advertising. WFME is a non-profit organization, so I fail to see in what way any information posted could be interpreted as promotional or advertising.

[edit] Your post regarding promotional and advertising and suggestion to review the guidelines pages

"...an article can report objectively about such things, as long as an attempt is made to describe the topic from a neutral point of view." Items that fall within this guideline is not promoting or advertising. You need to state what specific information you found to be promotional or advertising. Deleting relevant information that conforms to the guidelines defeats the purpose of Wikipedia and infringes on fundamental human freedoms. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wfmefamilyradio (talkcontribs) 20:15, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
