WCDB is a college radio station run by students attending The University at Albany in Albany, New York. Located at 90.9 FM WCDB's programming includes a wide range of music, news, sports and public affairs programs. WCDB underwent extensive renovations in late May 2007 and returned its regular program schedule later that year on November 16.

The station has a website with streaming capabilities and is now airing worldwide.

WCDB FM was originally WSUA AM. The station first went on the air on March 1, 1978 with the Bruce Springsteen song Born to Run. The University's Carillon rang out in time to the song at the same time.[1] It enjoyed a power boost in 1984 that brought capacity from ten to 100 watts.
