WCDB is, like, the best station ever... snoogins —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 12.145.116.54 (talk • contribs) 03:53, 14 April 2006 (UTC)

Agreed... But yo, who retrograded the logo? I mean, geez, we're totally using the yellow letters now —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 169.226.217.99 (talk • contribs) 02:23, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:WCDB-FM.gif

Image:WCDB-FM.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] License

What happened to have the station's license suspended? --Igoldste 17:49, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

What a terribly structured sentence coming from a PhD student! I don't understand, but if you are wondering as to the current state of WCDB's license, it is completely there as far as I know. 12.23.31.213 23:51, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

(3o) An opinion was requested as to the tone of this comment. In my opinion, it does trend towards the line of NPA, and I'd like to remind everyone not to comment on the language usage in other editor's talk page comments! Thank you. --Darkwind (talk) 16:35, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

The current version of the article implies that the station has a current license, and is not broadcasting until renovations are complete. If this is inaccurate, please provide a relevant source. It's curious that there is no link to the station's own web site at http://www.wcdbfm.com/, which states, "We hope to be back on the air sometime in August." The lead should be rewritten to indicate that the August timeline is a "hope" rather than a commitment. VisitorTalk 15:03, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

I came to this talk page because of a third opinion request, but I don't see the dispute on the current talk page. Is there no longer an active request for a third opinion? VisitorTalk 15:03, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
