And and also I am interested in getting a status bar like yours which looks very good, would you mind assisting me in how to get it fromy our page to mine please? Thanks in advance Police,Mad,Jack (talk · contribs) 19:43, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
Ok thanks mate, i've tried but I have really messed up my userpage in the process of trying to do all that monobooks stuff and i'm having no luck in creating all that stuff. Any chance you could help? Police,Mad,Jack (talk · contribs) 20:05, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
Thank you v much for trying to help mate :)
How do you mean mate? Sorry for my ignorance on this I must seem like a complete idiot Police,Mad,Jack (talk · contribs) 20:36, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
1. Create User:Police,Mad,Jack/Status with this code:
Police,Mad,Jack status: Online
1. Create User:Police,Mad,Jack/StatusTemplate with this code (edit as you wish)
1. Add this code anywhere on your userpage, talkpage, etc.
This is the problem mainly one makes my userpage replicate itself.

Image tagging issues
Hello. Unfortunately I have noticed a number of tagging problems with your image uploads. For instance, adding free license tags to copyright images (e.g., Image:Iridiumjazzclub.jpg) and images licensed for non-commercial use only (e.g., Image:Bob Paisley ball.jpg). I am in the process of adding maintenance tags to draw attention to these problems; please feel free to update tags and/or join the Possibly unfree image discussions if you disagree with the taggings.

Speedy deletion of Image:Bill Shankly Statue.jpg
A tag has been placed on Image:Bill Shankly Statue.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only," "non-derivative use" or "used with permission," it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content. [1], and it was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19, or is not used in any articles. If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions then:
- state clearly the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions.
- add the relevant copyright tag.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Replaceable fair use Image:Gary Lineker.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Gary Lineker.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. VivioFateFan (Talk, Sandbox) 10:47, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

Uh, what are you talking about? MECU≈talk 03:02, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
- But if I delete the image, commenting it out makes sense, since the image is deleted. I wouldn't do it otherwise. I use Twinkle which does it automatically for me (thankfully) when I delete an image, otherwise I doubt I'd comment out an image. If you have some problem with Twinkle doing this, you'll have to take it up with them. MECU≈talk 18:32, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

I would really appreciate an nomination! However, I promised myself that the day I would run, would be sometime in March. And someone already said they would like to nominate be. However, you can always co-nominate if you don't mind. :) - BTW, what happened to the new messages bar? - Milk's Favorite Cookie 21:14, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Torchwood (series 1)
An editor has nominated Torchwood (series 1), an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also " What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Torchwood (series 1) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 17:00, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

Hi - a stub template or category which you created has been nominated for deletion or renaming at Wikipedia:Stub types for deletion. The stub type, which was not proposed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals, does not meet the standard requirements for a stub type, either through being incorrectly named, ambiguously scoped, or through failure to meet standards relating to the current stub hierarchy or likely size, as explained at Wikipedia:Stub. Please feel free to make any comments at WP:SFD regarding this stub type, and in future, please consider proposing new stub types first! Grutness...wha? 23:55, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
Your RfA criteria
Hi, I have a few suggestions for your RfA criteria user subpage, since right now they seem highly statistics based. I'm not, of course, criticizing them or demanding that you change them, but I think I have a few (what I hope to be) helpful comments. First, level 1 criteria seems to be rather good, but I'd say that you should also include:
- Has a fairly comprehensive knowledge of policies, including banning/blocking, deletion, IAR, and AGF.
- Has been on Wikipedia for at least 3 months.
For level 2, I'd lower the 3000 to 2000 and the mainspace to 1000, up the edit summary usage standard to 75%, and also have a good grasp of all but the most obscure policies. They should also be familiar with the most (in)famous CSD criteria, i.e. A7. For level 3, I'd lower the 6000 to a 4000, and relax the mainspace edit restriction to 3000. They should also have extremely good grasp of policy, and be able to recite CSD like a clock.
These are just my suggestions; some of them might be terribly biased (you'll note I'm a anti-editcountis fanatic), but I hope you'll consider them. Nousernamesleftcopper, not wood 00:05, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the RfA offer. User:Auawise and I have agreed that he'll nominate me soon. (I recall it was some arbitrary mainspace edit count for the purposes of a set deadline, but I can't quite recall the actual number now.) You can, if you want to, co-nominate at that time. I'll notify you when *it's time*. Thanks again. Nousernamesleftcopper, not wood 22:01, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for implementing some of my humble suggestions! Nousernamesleftcopper, not wood 02:30, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

Image:English football Portal.png
It's a nice idea but as per my comments on the Portal talk page "Portals are among the few things on Wikipedia where looks matter. Part of the Featured portal criteria is that it looks ok at low resolutions (800x600)." Whack your screen res down and have a look and you'll find both the title image and the selected image push the page out to the right making the horizontal scroll bars appear. A good thing about that title image though is that it forces the page into a 1024x768 style width, so it looks the same in all resolutions, but you may find in the future that someone could query it during Peer review/FPC. Your AWB edits
Please avoid making insignificant edits using AutoWikiBrowser as you have been doing (five examples: [5] [6] [7] [8] [9]; there are many more I could have shown you). By asking for approval to use AWB, you agree to abide by the rules stated at Wikipedia:AutoWikiBrowser/CheckPage#Guide which states 'Avoid making insignificant minor edits', and your use of the tool has broken this. Further use in this way may result in you registration being revoked. Edits such as these do not improve the pages in a beneficial way (such as a spelling fix would) and use up capacity and sever space. I notice you have 'typo fixing' in your edit summary, so if you are using the typo fixing feature, I recommend checking the 'Skip if no typo fixed' option. Please ask if you have any questions. Thanks, mattbr 14:29, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- Regarding the edits [10] and [11], the benefit they provide is extremely minimal for editors, with no benefit being provided for readers as the links look exactly the same and point to the same place. I would suggest that you don't make edits such as these as there are many other things that can be done that actually do provide an improvement to articles for the benefit of readers, such as fixing typos or fixing links to disambiguation pages, both of which AWB can assist you in doing. Removing underscores and tidying links (and most, if not all of the other general fixes AWB makes) are fine to make along with other, more significant changes, but not by themselves. mattbr 20:28, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

Because of this we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank again for your interest in VandalProof. βcommand 17:24, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:AberdeenGrammarLogo.svg)
Thanks for uploading Image:AberdeenGrammarLogo.svg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 01:22, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
Another editor has added the {{prod}} template to the article List of Scottish cross country rail services, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. BJBot (talk) 13:01, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
- Hi, I think the content in the said article was valid enough, so I have removed the "Prod" tag. However, I also think the information could be covered comfortably inside a larger article, so I have gone ahead and merged it. Thanks for your efforts! Sjakkalle (Check!) 11:58, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

Deleted links
Your bot deleted a lot of links from Deflation. I don't understand why, and I reverted the deletions. Even if some went to disambiguation pages, that still seems more useful to me than no link at all. Why not count on users gradually improving the links instead of deleting them? --Rinconsoleao (talk) 10:23, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
- You say the links were repeated, but Deflation is a long page. Seems to me multiple links may be useful in that case (though I'm not sure what Wiki policy is). --Rinconsoleao (talk) 18:38, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

Ah yes lol. It really looks like the real thing doesn't it. Its amazing how a combination of free images can build up a parody of an evil genius. I recently bought this great effects pedal with a new cry baby wah pedal built into it!! Voodoo Child (Slight Return) stylee! Speedy deletion of Robot Wars Fetherweight
A tag has been placed on Robot Wars Fetherweight requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. скоморохъ 15:04, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

WikiProject Articles for creation needs your help! |
WikiProject Articles for creation has done a tremendous job in working at WP:AFC over the past 7½ months. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication! Together, we've made the submission process easier and more streamlined, developed tools to make the process go faster for reviewers, and cut the backlog down to a mere fraction of what it once was. Well done!
As you all are aware, however, our work is not quite yet done. The project still has 10 archive pages left to complete, which include over half a month's worth of submissions, many of which have not been completely reviewed. We need your help to finish looking over these neglected submissions so that we can finally remove the backlog notice from the page, and put an end to the more than two year old backlog that has been a thorn in our side for ages! Participants will receive an AFC Barnstar, so hurry up and help out while there's still work to be done! Make sure to sign in on the WikiProject's talk page so we know who is involved in what promises to be our final effort to complete this goal. Thank you for all your help!
- Happy editing as always, Hersfold (t/a/c) 16:32, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

You are receiving this letter because you are listed as a participant in the Articles for creation WikiProject at WP:WPAFC. To avoid receiving further notices, please remove your name from the list. Thanks!
Howdy, I was wondering what sort of cleanup you thought Abraham Adrian Albert needed? I don't see a good place to add section headings. It has a fair number of wikilinks out. It has a reference, the standard mathematician external links and categories. The grammar is not perfect, but it didn't hurt my head to read it. The style is a little flat, but it seems fine for an encyclopedia. JackSchmidt (talk) 18:44, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Rude Tube
An editor has nominated Rude Tube, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rude Tube and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 15:00, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. Just out of interest...[12] Pedro : Chat 23:09, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
To clarify, you honestly feel that granting me access to admin tools would be a net negative for the Project? Even before the absence of a good answer to "why", I'm left grasping at straws for "how"! Given my self-imposed restrictions and my extensive history with the site at the highest levels, I cannot see how I would not constitute an acceptable risk, if I must aspire only to that barest of qualifications. Jouster (whisper) 23:27, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- The goal of writing that question was to summarize the concerns opposers would be likely to have, and then to provide direct, concise answers to them. In the case of your concern, I'll contend that as , Wikipedia is or will become far too large for any one administrator to be able to competently administer all areas of the encyclopedia. Specialist administrators are a symptom of that "problem", and applications for general adminship through any other means than artificially contriving to get your RfA approved (read: forcing administrators to do what then amounts to work in parts of the encyclopedia in which they'd rather not be) will become more and more rare.
- At any rate, though, whether you agree with me or not, I'd appreciate it if you could change your comments to more clearly reflect your generalized disdain for specialist administrators. Your current comments come off as quite brusque and dismissive, especially given that you're using an argument that I specifically refuted (ignoring this new context of how you mean to quote it) to condemn me. - {{User WikiprojectPolice}} -- our userbox, or
- {{lawenforcementmember}} -- our member banner.
Here are some more tips to get you started:
- Creating articles: See here for articles you can create, but don't forget to add [[Category:Law enforcement]] to the base of the article and our project banner to the talk page of the article using {{WPLE}}
- Participate on our talk page: It is highly recommended that you watchlist it. There are also a number of small projects on the talk page as well that may be of interest to you!
- Check the bulletin board: For news and information, please read the bulletin board regularly or add it to you user-page using: {{lawenforcementbulletinboard}}
- Improve an article: Click here to find all the really short articles, pick one from that list and improve it. When you are done go to the talk page of that article and removed {{WPLE| class=Stub}} the bit in bold and another editor will be along to see how well you have done and reassess the article to a much higher class.
All members are reminded:
In a nutshell:
- SGGH speak! (Project Coordinator)
- Dep. Garcia ( Talk + | Help Desk | Complaints ) (Assistant Coordinator)
- Or any project coordinator listed on the main project page or members page.
Again, Thank you and Welcome

Vandalism
The recent edit you made to User Talk:Karaku constitutes vandalism, and has been reverted. Please do not continue to vandalize pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thanks -Karaku (talk) 21:05, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
- I think you'll find it was not vandalism but a warning for vandalism. Thank you. WEBURIEDOURSECRETSINTHEGARDEN aka john lennon 21:13, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
Except i didn't vandalize. Therefore that is a fake warning, not legit, and it's vandalism. -Karaku (talk) 21:17, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
- Good faith edits are not vandalism Karaku, please read WP:AGF. If you contest it, don't start an argument and blame the warner for vandalism, otherwise it could be seen as disruptive. — Save_Us † 21:20, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

- WBOSITG, while I defer to your much more copious knowledge of Wikipedia, I have to agree with Save Us that the reporting of Karaku was a little out of process. While it is a policy I vehemently disagree with, I'm sure you are aware that people are technically allowed to blank warnings. Aside from the bad faith vandal reports on your userpage, I don't think Karaku ever vandalized anything per se. He/she just has a major civility issue (even after both a friendly and a stern warning). I do think a block is warranted, though, and hey, if what you did makes it happen, you can't argue with results I guess.. --Jaysweet (talk) 21:25, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
Zaxbys
hi, my recent addition is not spam. several locations, including the one in my city charges for extra condiments. it is notable since the majority of fast food places do not charge. please revert the article and my talk page back. thanks! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.199.130.222 (talk) 21:39, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
is this case it does, since nearly all fast food does not charge, and zaxby's is being one of the only exceptions to charge. I will revert it or take my case up with an admin since you want to be rude about it and leave nasty comments. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.199.130.222 (talk) 21:49, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
