WBMS-CA is an independent TV station in Jackson, Mississippi, operating on channel 10.
WBMS began broadcasting in 1994 as W10BD, affiliated with America's Voice.
In 1995, the station's call sign was changed to WMVT-LP.
In 1997, the station's call sign was changed to WBMS-LP (later WBMS-CA), and joined the UPN network, with America One a secondary affiliation.
In 2001, WBMS dropped UPN and moved America One to primary status.
In 2002, the station joined PAX and pushed America One back to secondary status.
On June 1, 2003, WBMS dropped Pax and America One, and rejoined UPN as a simulcast of WXMS-LP.
On 2004, Jackson Television, LLC acquired WBMS and WXMS.
In 2006, WBMS-10 still operates as a simulcast of WXMS, but is expected to replace WXMS.
