[edit] History

For more than 50 years, WTNC was located in Thomasville, North Carolina. When the station moved to High Point in the first decade of the 21st Century, it played southern gospel music. During most of 2004, the station was called WIST, airing adult standards along with WIST-FM. The current name and format were adopted early in 2005.

The station is an affiliate of the Atlanta Braves radio network, the largest radio affiliate network in Major League Baseball.[1]
