Wayne Bolt is an American football coach . He currently serves as defensive coordinator to Gene Chizik at Iowa State University. He also served as an assistant for more than 25 years in various other schools. He has coached 10 teams that made bowl games at UAB, Troy, Clemson, Auburn, and Iowa State. Wayne Bolt has coached over 20 players who have played in the NFL.
He played college football at East Carolina, where he was an all-american at offensive line.
