as with the other vietnam hospital corps moh articles, this citation uses the wrong abbreviation for caron's rate. hc3c is world war 2 terminology. in vietnam and to this day a hospital corpsman third class is abbreviated HM3. i don't know what version of the ciattions are being used, but it should be the one from the naval historical center, an official u.s. navy site. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Toyokuni3 (talk • contribs) 05:20, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
