The company, part of the Chadha group, began its commercial operations in Sep 2003 with the launch of it's 2 Multiplex & 2 Mall,first at Wave Cinemas ( East End Mall )in Kaushambi,Ghzb (U.P), Ghaziabad's Biggest(area wise) 4 Screen Multiplex & Second at Wave Cinemas( Centre Stage Mall )in Sec-18,Noida(U.P),Noida's first Multiplex in Mall with 5 Screens.

By introducing the multiplex concept in Ghaziabad & Noida, Wave Cinemas brought in a whole new paradigm shift to the cinema viewing experience: high class seating, state-of-the-art Projection System, screens and audio-visual systems.

Presently Wave Cinemas, penetrating in untapped raw territories of U.P. & Punjab.Developing features and system based on international standards. Offering mega screens, with mega seating for the ultimate movie going experience. Proper cinema automation systems with focus towards quick and efficient front and back ending. Wide high gain screens from Harkness Hall and stadium Ergonomically designed luxurious seats which are 11% wider and have 20% of more legroom over present industry standards. (36” & 23” wide & 1165 cms gap between seats) Carpets from BRINTON, United Kingdom. The same company which have carpets put in Buckingham Palace and the famous Queen Mary’s Cruise Liner. (Pure 100% virgin wool, Fire-redundant, non-decaying fabric.
