Waukesha South High School

Waukesha South High School is a high school in Waukesha, Wisconsin. It was opened in 1957 as a southern campus to the Waukesha High School building, in downtown Waukesha, which is now called, "Central Campus Middle School." [1]

South is currently adding charter schools. The [Waukesha Academy of Health Professions][1] and the Waukesha Engineering Academy.

Waukesha South is one of three schools that supply students to C.O.R.E. 2062; a FIRST Robotics Team. They are only two years old, but have been very successful. They won the Rookie All Star Award in 2007, and the Milwaukee Regional in 2008. In 2008, they also won the World Safety Award, Wisconsin Regional Safety Award, St. Louis Safety Award, Entrepreneurship Award, and Website Award. Their website is core2062.com.
