- Bill Watterson (born July 5, 1958) is the creator of the comic strip Calvin and Hobbes.
- Henry Watterson (February 16, 1840 - December 22, 1921) was a journalist, and founded the Louisville Courier-Journal.
- The Henry Watterson Expressway (I-264) is a highway in Louisville, Kentucky.
- Juan Watterson MHK (politician) elected to the Manx parliament in November 2006.
- Watterson Towers is a 28-story student residence hall complex at Illinois State University.
