Waterfalls suburb is an affluent suburb in the south of Harare in Zimbabwe. It is believed to be the largest suburb in Harare and one of the oldest. It is divided into zones that include Prospect, Grobbie Park, Midlands, Mainway Meadows, Uplands, Derbyshire, Park Town, Houghton Park and Malvern (named after Godfrey Huggins). It is bordered by Highfield, Glen Norah, Hatfield, Mbare, Adbernie and Ardmbare. It also has a light industries section that includes transport and chemical production.
The suburb was named after the rapids on the Mukuvisi river which flows through the Houghton Park-Parktown areas.It is believed to have been the residence allocated to top of the range intelligence officers and retired civil servants.
