Water Margin Online is one of the well known games from China, featuring about 108 heroes gathered at Mount "Liang Shan". The adventure of is a 3D MMORPG. The game brings you back to Song Dynasty,where you can gather with the heroes from Mount "Liang Shan",establish your own guild,and experience the spirit of chivalry.

Feature
Using real-time battle system, plus unique strategies and various skills from various occupations, you can make the game multi-perspective.Further more,the quest system was based on the true story,which would bring you extra satisfaction and excitement.
Making friends,is the main point of this game.With the help of different chat channels,friends list,interesting emoticons and unique character dressing,you will experience the fun of online gaming.
Interface
Both a mouse and a keyboard are required to play Water Margin Online.The heads-up display consists of a log and chat window,a minimap,various menus and a status window detailing the current hit points and mana points,the progress towards leveling up and a hotkey bar.
Icons representing status effects, regardless of whether they are positive or negative,appear at the right-hand of the status window.Menus allow the player to access his or her skills,stats,inventory and various configuration options.The player may assign hotkeys to streamline access to commonly-used skills or items on the function keys of the keyboard.
Water Margin Online also enable player to learn living skills like mining,farming,felling,blacksmith,crafting,fishing,salvaging and more.It also enable user to be able to build own boat and enjoy the life of the sea.
Quests System
Quest system in <The Adventures of Water Margin> is based on the original story of <Water Margin>.The quests consist of two different streams,one is main line quest, and the other one is normal quest. Main line quest will be updated monthly,and it will be presented chapter by chapter following the story line in the novel. In this way, not only will understand the original story,but also present the culture of the novel in the game.With the Main Quest,players are guided in a particular direction along with the game.
General Quest system allows players to interact with other players, and also exchange items or weapons as reward.
Chaptering is the main method of authoring novel in old time of China. With all the chapters lining up,an event followed by another event,to form a complete story.In <The Adventure of Water Margin>, the main line quest system makes use of the advantages of chaptering,presenting a clear objective to the players on a monthly basis. With this way of presenting the game,the players will also be able to experience the original publishing of this classical novel.
With this special technique of presenting the game,players will experience the true feel of Role Playing Game (RPG),where players play the actual character in the real story.For example,to play as WuSong,players will get to know the story in chapter 23 till chapter 26,and with proper modification, players will get the feel of participating the story. On the other hand,where players play as LinChong,to experience being the leader of an army of 800 thousand.This kind of story presentation,is the first of Chinese online game.
There are varieties of quests in the game.They are relaxing and fun,enable the players to enjoy the game from another perspective.These quests not only teach the philosophy of life, but also provide more information about.Upon completion of the quest,players not only will obtain weapon,armor and item,but also some other special functions.

Much of Water Margin Online's gameplay centers around leveling as that is the basis of a characters strength.Killing monsters of equal level is the main resource for experience but it can also be received through the completion of certain quests.As characters get to higher levels,it becomes harder to gain a substantial amount of experience in a short time. Players at this point can either continue to fight monsters solo or as the gameplay leads,join parties.Some players mob many monsters at once and kill them quickly with an area of effect skill.Other players kill extremely strong monsters slowly, leading to an overall gain of experience.
quest for water margin didn't stop at main chapter, it keep developing every event of the calendar Christmas, Chinese new year etc etc. for lower lvl leveling is very easy, get a hero and all ur problem solved. but when u reach lvl 2+40 and above the prospect of hero ceased to exist. until cho is introduced but it still wont work if you are alone. then come the ff technique which featured a boom and stuck fashion of attacking. preferebly with a monarch with devil dance and official with red leaf take turn to deal damage to mob. the second and most preferred method unfortunately only available when u 252 is the bandit chieftain boom trap skill. it involves the party to collect mob n stuck it at a corner and bandit chieftain using the skill which will make the mob dying and can be easily cleared by a monarch or any other job with area of effect damage.

Occupations are one of the most important aspects of Water Margin Online,as the occupation a player chooses will have profound implications on his or her strengths and weaknesses,both in a party and outside of one.The occupation system includes a total of 49 different occupations.
The Occupations can be listed 4 class.
The First Class:
-Major
The initial government officer.Responsible for the safety of the town, capturing thief. They are good in using saber and spear.
Weapon: Saber,Spear.
-Monk
Live in the temple since was small.Tight relation with Buddha,and learnt ShaoLin martial art.Familiar with all sort of weapons in the temple.
Weapon: Cudgel,Spade.
-Peasant
Student of famous martial art school,and learnt outstanding martial art.Hopes to earn the fame out of this lawless world. Professional in using sword,and attack with JianQi.
Weapon: Sword,Japanese Sword.
-Thief
High agility.Fast in reaction.
Weapon: Dagger,Whip.
-Literatus
Study hard,in order to succeed in the royal examination.Never use any weapon,but good in war strategy and healing skill.
