[edit] Plot

Shinya's a typical, below average, wimpy student. Then he met Haruna, the Messiah's shield, and his life was changed as Haruna tells him that he is the Messiah, the person who is chosen by gods to save the world. A book called "Guide to Salvation" is then put in his care and helps him realize his true destiny. But along with the "Guide to Salvation" and the Messiah, there is also the "Guide to Domination" and an Emperor to control that book. Shinya meets three other women, his sword, wing, and thunder and they set off to meet the Great Vaul, the one who will deliver the divine prophecy to Shinya. The Princess of Ruin, Angel of Death, King of Lions, and the Prince of Madness try to thwart Shinya's attempts, and must find their master, the Emperor, to completely dominate Celestia. With the bestowal of the Great Thunder God's power, Shinya goes to great extremes to save the world of Celestia and release the 13 Knights to help him meet his goal. When Shinya met the Princess of Ruin, neither knowing who the other is, it changed his fortunes greatly and a love triangle emerges.

[edit] ~Lacrima~

Watashi no Kyūseishu-sama ~lacrima~ Takes place 1 year after the original series. With Shinya's memories gone, and his power sealed, a new Priestess of Salvation comes to bring back the old Shinya and help Earth from being dominated by Celestia. Being betrayed by Vaul, Shinya must take back Haruna, who is controling her. With Rifts between the two world's opening under Haruna's hand, Shinya is faced with two choices. He must kill the one he loves, or betray the world. After his choice, not only is the Angel of Death and his followers after him, but also the Nation's militaries as "The Messiah of Earth has betrayed the world. Kill him."

Lacrima is Latin for tears.
