WATC is a television station located in Atlanta, Georgia. It broadcasts its analog signal on channel 57, and its digital signal on channel 41. The station's transmitter is located on Sweat Mountain in north-northwestern metro Atlanta and its city of license is Atlanta. Its studios are located at 1862 Enterprise Drive in Norcross, near I-85.
It is an independent, non-commercial, educational Christian station with programing from various Christian networks including FamilyNet, World Harvest, Inspiration, Worship Network, Golden Eagle and Shepherd's Chapel.
WATC produces more local non-news programming than any other TV station in Atlanta. Its nightly prime-time "flagship program" "Atlanta Live" is aired 7-9 p.m. nightly, Monday - Friday and reaired the following morning at 7:00 a.m.
WATC has granted permission to rebroadcast its signal on WSKC-CA channel 22 (also licensed in Atlanta), so that station could maintain its Class A status. WSKC-CA is located on the same transmission tower as WATC.
