[edit] Shadowyze

This is to let you know that the article on Shadowyze has been targeted for deletion and needs support. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Lojah (talkcontribs) 20:03, 3 April 2007 (UTC).

According to my talk page, you recommended deleting the Shadowyze wiki site. I did delete some biased information and re-formated some of the page. Let me know what you think. Wathiik 14:57, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
Untrue: I didn't. That came from Lojah's canvassing in relation to the AFD. I voted for "keep and rewrite". Tearlach 00:20, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
Okay. Looks good now I think. Wathiik 10:45, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Article Licensing

Hi, I've started a drive to get users to multi-license all of their contributions that they've made to either (1) all U.S. state, county, and city articles or (2) all articles, using the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike (CC-by-sa) v1.0 and v2.0 Licenses or into the public domain if they prefer. The CC-by-sa license is a true free documentation license that is similar to Wikipedia's license, the GFDL, but it allows other projects, such as WikiTravel, to use our articles. Since you are among the top 2000 Wikipedians by edits, I was wondering if you would be willing to multi-license all of your contributions or at minimum those on the geographic articles. Over 90% of people asked have agreed. For More Information:

To allow us to track those users who muli-license their contributions, many users copy and paste the "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" template into their user page, but there are other options at Template messages/User namespace. The following examples could also copied and pasted into your user page:

Option 1
I agree to multi-license all my contributions, with the exception of my user pages, as described below:
DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual

OR

Option 2
I agree to multi-license all my contributions to any U.S. state, county, or city article as described below:
DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual

Or if you wanted to place your work into the public domain, you could replace "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" with "MultiLicensePD". If you only prefer using the GFDL, I would like to know that too. Please let me know what you think at my talk page. It's important to know either way so no one keeps asking. -- Ram-Man (comment| talk)

[edit] Main namespace cleanup

In an effort to clean up the main namespace, I've moved your old main namespace userpage to User:Wathiik/old, as there's some edit history you might want to keep. Otherwise just delete it. --fvw* 12:29, 2004 Dec 31 (UTC)

[edit] Chicano

I'm wondering as to the source of your ambiguity to the etymology of the word Chicano.

After looking thru the history page of Chicano you were first in stating the following:

Its etymology is uncertain, some link it to Mexicano (i.e. Mexican) - Chicano is sometimes written as Xicano, and in Old Spanish, the letter X was pronounced as modern English <sh> /S/. Others claim to find its true etymology in the Spanish word "chicana," meaning "harassment."

[edit] Ice-T

Hi, I saw that you wrote the majority of the Ice T article. An anonymous user recently made a lot of changes to that article, see Talk:Ice T. Maybe you should have a look to make sure that they are ok. Cheers, AxelBoldt 01:28, 21 November 2005 (UTC)

Yeah, I'm not happy with those changes at all. Wathiik 21:28, 11 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Hello

|Hello, I noticed you edited a Hip Hop related article. If you wish you can join the new Hip Hop Wikiproject. --Chubdub 16:11, 16 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Lovebugs (band)

Lovebugs (band) has been proposed for deletion. An editor felt this musician or group might not yet be notable enough for an article. Please review Wikipedia:Notability (music) for the relevant guidelines. If you can improve the article to address these concerns, please do so.

If no one objects to the deletion within five days by removing the "prod" notice, the article may be deleted without further discussion. If you remove the prod notice, the deletion process will stop, but if an editor is still not satisfied that it meets Wikipedia guidelines, it may be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion for consensus. [edit] Iqglix

You forgot Y as consonant, as in Yes. I think.

Regarding DH and TH for the voiced dental fricative and voiceless dental fricative . I would have used C instead and maybe a CH as well to seperate the two.

Oh and about the ZH for pleaSure, I woulda just used a J. And Dj for the sound in Jar (Djar) or Djibouti like the french.--Steven X 09:04, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

Hey Steven, no, I didn't: J as in you > ju(u) As in other Germanic languages. /j/ Of course I never thought anyone would actually use this system (although I did sometimes use it myself) Wathiik 09:52, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Major Lil Rob Article Vandalism

Hey, Wathiik, Man I saw what happend to it, I'm willing to attempt and try to revert this as best I can, or you can, what should we do? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ace Fighter (talkcontribs) 01:48, 25 February 2007 (UTC).

Hey, I'm not exactly sure how the whole "other copy of article" works. Ace Fighter 15:20, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

Back, someone deleted the whole article. All that was left was jyjyjy t, but it has been expanded though. Ace Fighter 15:39, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

yeah, looks okay again. Wathiik 13:36, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Psycomatic

I have added a "prod" template to the article Psycomatic, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the dated prod notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Pascal.Tesson 14:56, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Conejo

Another editor has added the "prod" template to the article Conejo, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the prod template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Oo7565 18:00, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

I think Conejo is one of the most important Chicano rappers. Someone should write a new wiki about him. Wathiik 18:50, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Mr. Capone-E

i just seen ur edit post, "Someone obviously vandalised this article.", i didn't notice some of that vandalism when i would remove others, but i reverted it to a way earlier date. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by ChicanoJ (talkcontribs) 23:55, 15 May 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Notability of A.L.T.

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on A.L.T., by TenPoundHammer (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because A.L.T. seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting A.L.T., please affix the template hangon to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 22:55, 22 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Kemo the Blaxican

An editor has nominated Kemo the Blaxican, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kemo the Blaxican and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 02:44, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Italianos Intocables

The article Italianos Intocables has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki (talk) 14:38, 19 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Notability of El Chicano

A tag has been placed on El Chicano requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding hangon to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Mdsummermsw (talk) 16:06, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

Oops! My bad! Speedy tag has been removed. - Mdsummermsw (talk) 17:41, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
