[edit] Occupation of Japan
Hi, I'm Gettystein. Do you read the Japanese Wikipedia Talk:Occupation of Japan? Since it has the same discussion about the flag of Occupied Japan, please read there if you can read Japanese. Those discussion had reached consensus which the flag was not a National flag during occupied period. Thank you.--Gettystein 13:43, 30 November 2007 (UTC) adding comment--Gettystein 14:51, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Replaceable fair use Image:Parra Lorenzo.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Parra Lorenzo.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, fair use media which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if not used in an article), per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. High on a tree 15:52, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] !
Ha. ha. heh. heh. ho, hum...that's clearly laughable. Jukdo is almost invisible from ashore the Korean peninsula. I reverted opp2's edit simply because it was completely unnecessary, since it was mentioned before. NPOV has no provisions for any physical point of view. Now I'm going to check really what revert you were referring to, because I am somewhat confused. Odst (talk) 19:03, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- oh I see... I reverted that because someone needs to repeat kindergarten. I'm a Grammar Nazi
also, as far as I'm aware, this was mentioned before in the article. Odst (talk) 19:08, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Solis ulises.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Solis ulises.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 09:47, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Your contradiction to WP:V
I suggest that you would better find inline references to support your claim and to take the responsibility for your comment at the summary field because the whole contents don't have verifiable references except name a few. You could've put {{fact}} tag, but didn't because you appear to dislike the content. But it is so ironic that you didn't remove the recent addition done by Japanese anons with failing to provide any confirmed proof. I wonder why you showed the different acts. If you don't provide confirmed inline-references, the whole contents can be deletable just like following your standard. Don't you think? --Appletrees (talk) 12:54, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Keio University
Keio University, which is a good school and is known even to South Korea because many Korean leading figured graduated the school along with graduates from University of Tokyo and Waseda University during the Japanese occupation period. Except the three schools, most of universities in Japan are unknown to South Korean public. Again, Keio University is really a prestigious school and also is famous for its expensive school fee, isn't it? The graduates take important roles in Japanese society encompassing all over the field. So good luck for the students! --Appletrees (talk) 21:30, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, Keio is known as a good school. But I've no idea what do you want to say.--W/mint-Talk- 08:34, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Shortcut box
Hi Watermint. Your user page got automatically listed over at CAT:SHORTFIX since you had a shortcut box on your page that used an old trick to handle more than five shortcuts. We are soon going to add extra functions to the shortcut boxes. But such old tricks will then cause problems, it would look terrible on your page when we add the new code to {{shortcut}}. So I took the liberty of fixing you up with a hand coded shortcut box. It causes no visible change of your page. So now you can have any number of shortcuts in it without getting problems when we change the shortcut boxes. And that also got your page off the list at CAT:SHORTFIX. I hope you like your new box!
