Judson Lee Watkins- (juhd-sun) Born in North East Texas (date unknown); as a child reared in a rural community, he spent most of his early years outside. At age 13 he became interested in history and genealogy.

Judson is a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, a non-profit organization aimed at preserving Southern heritage. He is also a member of the local church, where he serves as the church historian. Judson is also a staunch member of his high school band.

In 2007, Judson became the youngest member of the SCV to ever be appointed to a brigade office. As 2nd Lieutenant Commander, Judson served under Commander Tommy Holmes; in charge of the South East Texas region.
