Talk:Wath, North Yorkshire

[edit] Which Wath?
Wath appears to be the name of three places in North Yorkshire, two in Harrogate borough (although one of these is in the West Riding and the other in the North Riding) and one in Ryedale. All I have to go on is the Gazetteer of British Place Names, which shows the three as follows.
PLACE NAME GRID COUNTY Admin. District Unitary Police Health Country Lieut. REF. County AuthArea Area AuthArea /Region Area
Wath SE1467 Yorkshire, West Riding N York Har'gate N York N York York&H N York
Wath SE3277 Yorkshire, North Riding N York Har'gate N York N York York&H N York

Does anyone have the local knowledge to translate this into an article (or three)? Yorkshire Phoenix (talk) 08:37, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
