[edit] Requested move

Water EatonWater Eaton, Milton Keynes – Someone recently turned this page into a disambig page pointing to the two Water Eatons that were mentioned in the article, however a brief glance at the page history shows that most of the history relates to the Milton Keynes village and that a brief half-sentence about the other one was only added five edits ago. The page should have been moved and the redirect turned into a disambig. -- Roleplayer 02:06, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

  • Comment It would be good to fix the cut&paste move; but I otherwise support this being a disambiguation page (which would mean I oppose the RM) -- Ratarsed 13:41, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
I'm not doubting the validity of this being a disambig page and suggest that it should be so in my reason for suggesting the move above. I'm requesting the move to fix the cut and paste move because the article at Water Eaton, Milton Keynes now looks like it was created entirely by just one user. -- Roleplayer 23:04, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
Looks like I misunderstood your reason for move, as did Vegaswikian -- I see the c&p move has been fixed now, as I was (trying to) suggest -- Ratarsed 08:10, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
  • Oppose. Two places with articles, this should be a dab. If the articles are two stubby, then they can be converted to a redirect, but the dab would still serve a purpose. Vegaswikian 16:31, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
See my response above. I think you've got the wrong end of the stick. -- Roleplayer 23:04, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
So if I deleted Water Eaton, Milton Keynes, reverted Water Eaton to pre dab and then moved Water Eaton to Water Eaton, Milton Keynes we would be OK? That should restore the edit history. The dab could then be created again. Vegaswikian 23:12, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
Yes that would work. -- Roleplayer 00:34, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
OK, done. Water Eaton, Milton Keynes will need some stub cleanup. Vegaswikian 01:00, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
    Thank you. -- Roleplayer 11:22, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
