- No, I believe Earth is related with Winter, at least in regard to the Western classical elements. As for with the Eastern classical elements, water may be related with winter, although I've heard both water and metal used interchangibly as symbols of winter.66.24.224.205 03:44, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

Does this quote have bad grammar (flood = flooding), or a typo (flood = blood)? (Or is there another possibility I haven't named?)
"Water is one of the five Chinese elements. It is associated with the planet Mercury, the north and winter, and the colour black. Water is "black" because in fact it represents flood."

Could any Wiccans visiting this page please improve the section on Wiccan tradition? Even with recent additions, it still pales in comparison with the similar section in the Air (classical element) article. The section there should be used as a guide. 67.160.13.15 05:07, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
