Wassertrüdingen is a town in the district of Ansbach, Middle Franconia, Bavaria, Germany.

Wassertrüdingen is located in a nice landscape between the Hesselberg, the only franconian mountain with a view on the alps, the wooded heights of the Oettinger Forest and the foothills of the Hahnenkamm. The Fränkisches Seenland (Frankonian Lake Country), a recreation area is ca. 15 kilometers away.

The first mention in a document dates from the year 836 as truth muntiga. In 1524 Wassertrüdingen is coccupied by peasants during the Peasants' War. During the Thirty Years' War it was severely damaged and hadn't fully recovered yet 150 years later. In the last weeks of the Second World War the train station is bombarded.
