SR 540 was a state route in the U.S. state of Washington. It was an auxiliary route of Interstate 5. It started at the Lummi Indian Reservation, then headed east to I-5, where it ended.[1]

In January 1964, SSH 1Z became SR 540. In 1984, SR 540 became defunct.
