State Route 162, commonly known as SR 162 or just 162, is a numbered state highway in Washington, United States. It connects State Route 410 with State Route 165. It is the main arterial thoroughfare for the cities of Orting, Washington and South Prairie, Washington. It connects the cities in southern Pierce County to the roads and cities at the north end of the county, such as Tacoma, Washington

- 50 mph when you exit Sumner
- 35 mph at the entrance to Orting, Washington
- 25 mph in downtown Orting
- 50 mph between Orting and South Prairie, Washington
- 30 mph throughout South Prairie
- 50 mph from South Prairie to the State Route 165 junction.
