Washington Nationals (or Nats) can refer to:
- Washington Nationals, a National League baseball franchise based in Washington, D.C. Prior to the 2005 season, they played in Montreal, Quebec as the Montreal Expos.
- Washington Nationals/Senators, an American League baseball franchise based in Washington, D.C. from 1901 to 1960, after which they became, and still remain, the Minnesota Twins. Officially the "Nationals" but widely known as the "Senators" for much of their history, they officially changed their name to the Washington Senators after 1956, although headline writers continued to use "Nats" as an alternate nickname.
- Washington Senators, an American League franchise based in Washington, D.C. from 1961 to 1971, often called the "Nats" by popular media (carrying on the tradition of their D.C. predecessor) although that was never their official nickname. The team moved to Texas in 1972 and became the Texas Rangers.
- Washington Nationals (NA), a baseball team that played in the National Association in 1872 and again in 1875.
- Washington Nationals (UA 1884), a baseball team that played in the Union Association in its lone year of existence, 1884.
- The American Association Washington Nationals (AA) played in 1884.
- Washington Nationals (1886-1889), a baseball team that played in the National League from 1886-1889. The team was also sometimes called "Statesmen".
