Washington F.C. is a football club based in Washington, Tyne and Wear, England. They were established in 1947 and joined the Wearside League in 1968. In the 1977-78 season, they reached the 3rd round of the FA Vase. Other local Clubs in the area include a number of youth feeder clubs, Washington Colliery F.c (www.web-teams.co.uk/washington) and The Washington Arms F.C. Both play in the Durham Sunday League.
