The Washington D.C. Slayers (also known as The Slayers) are a semi-professional rugby league club located in the capital city of the United States, Washington, D.C. The team was founded for the beginning of 2003 where they entered (along with the Connecticut Wildcats) and currently play in the American National Rugby League competition but are yet to win a championship title although they have qualified for the AMNRL playoffs on several occasions. The side often provides several players to the USA national side each year.

[edit] Uniform & colors
For their inaugural American National Rugby League season the club adopted the colors of red, red and blue but the home uniforms are predominatly red, while the away uniforms are predominantly white[1]. For the 2006 and 2007 seasons the clubs major jersey sponsors are Steamroller Rugby, Fitness Corps, Hotel Madera and The Pug[2].

The Slayers currently use the Raoul Wallenberg Memorial Park in Washington, D.C. as their home ground as they have for their four seasons in existence.
The park is also used for soccer and rugby union.
