Washington is a pop-rock-band from Tromsø, Norway. The band was formed in 1999, under the name Gorgeous, by Rune Simonsen on vocals and guitar, Esko Pedersen on percussion and Andreas Høyer on the bass. Simonsen is the main composer and writes all the lyrics.
