Wasatch Academy

Wasatch Academy is a private, co-ed College prep boarding school school, in Mount Pleasant, Utah. It admits pupils in grades 9 to 12. Founded in 1875 by Presbyterian minister Duncan McMillan, the school was named after the Wasatch Mountains McMillan said, “Let it endure like the Wasatch Mountains, call it Wasatch Academy.” Rising from the valley floor just east of campus. The school is about two hours' drive south of Salt Lake City.
The school hosted the World Individual Debating and Public Speaking Championships in 2004, the first time a school in the USA had done so.
It is also know to have held the individual rushing career title in football by a former student, though the papers from the 1960's haven't been clarified.
