Warwickshire Wildlife Trust

Warwickshire Wildlife Trust is a Wildlife Trust covering the county of Warwickshire plus Solihull and Coventry (all formerly in Warwickshire and now in the West Midlands county), England.

The Trust headquarters are at Brandon Marsh Nature Reserve near Brandon in Warwickshire.

The Trust's vision is for an environment rich in wildlife, valued and enjoyed by everyone.

The Trust works to safeguard local wildlife by:

CARING for over 50 Nature Reserves - woods, meadows and wetlands covering over 2000 acres.

CAMPAIGNING for wildlife and the environment - helping to protect threatened places and rare species.

ENCOURAGING people to enjoy nature - with walks, talks and events in town and country.

WORKING with schools, businesses and community groups - to support local action for the environment.

PROMOTING ways for volunteers to help - with practical projects and local activities everywhere.

The Trust was founded on 6 June 1957 and was originally called The West Midlands Trust for Nature Conservation Limited. ^[1]

The Trust also owns a subsidiary consultancy company, Middlemarch Environmental Ltd, which works with clients throughout the UK on biodiversity issues.
