Warragul Show
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Warragul Show is a festival held annually in Warragul since 1885, a town in the West Gippsland region of Victoria in Australia.
The Warragul Show attracts visitors from as far away as Morwell. The Warragul show takes place in the Warragul showgrounds on the first Friday of March each year. Rides like The Zipper and Alpine Express have been seen at the show for several years. There are lots of stalls selling hot doughnuts, fairy floss, hot chips and soft drinks, there are also games with prizes of large stuffed toys. However the fireworks display is probably the most popular attraction at the Warragul show and can be seen and heard all around the area. Entry to the Warragul Show was $10 for adults over 12 and $4 for children under 12 as of 2006.
