Warhawk is a fictional character in the Marvel Universe.
Warhawk was a master assassin used by the C.I.A. in Vietnam who later went insane and battled Iron Fist. Later, Warhawk regained his sanity and became a costumed criminal for hire. He was hired to assassinate the first Atom-Smasher, after which the Atom-Smasher's brother, Michael English, took over the identity. The Black King then hired Warhawk to bug the X-Mansion and test the abilities of the X-Men.
Later he became a free agent and fought Iron Fist again, and then Maverick before going to prison. He was conscripted by S.H.I.E.L.D. alongside Constrictor, Tombstone, and Man-Bull to serve as a temporary agent in exchange for reducing his sentence.
