Warburton is a mid sized town in Punjab province of Pakistan. It about 15 km north of Nankana Sahib and South East of Sheikhupura. The town was named after a British army officer during British rule (pre 1947 era). His residence at that time was turned to a high school which is still functional.
Warburton's population was estimated around 50,000 in 2007 and is growing rapidly specially with merging neighbouring villages. Warburton has its own government hospital, high school for boys and girls, police station, post office, around 7 banks, one main bazar also called "bara bazar" and "bano bazar", and more than 10 middle schools.
