[edit] Prepare for disentanglement
Switched version to the remastered copy from CFS sandbox, but no History for this change ? Jagra (talk) 03:12, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
- The history shows you have no edits to the main user page. I don't know.Ward20 (talk) 03:54, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
- The Chronic fatigue syndrome/Sandbox and User:Ward20/Sandbox1 are both 90,305 bytes so they should be the same. We could put a do not edit warning tag on Chronic fatigue syndrome/Sandbox and put a deletion tag on it. Ward20 (talk) 05:01, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Splitting
As the Pathophysiology section in its origonal form was 90.3 kB long which is about 3 times the length of the ideal max. length specified for a Wiki Article I have tentatively split it into three sections as now shown. These can be seperated Articles as a bit big to lump together anymore! To this we add Hypotheses which i am realising will not produce much from existing. In the meantime be useful if someone else can check if all content now in new draft. i have added links between CFS sandbox and this one for ease of transfers. back later. Jagra (talk) 01:07, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- Now reorganised some material, headings etc, placed no new material in Pathophysiology. Jagra (talk) 03:48, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- On the CFS talk page I was looking for a reference for 'Multi-system dysfunctions i.e. immune system, nervous system and hormonal system in CFS' as a rationnal for further splitting the Pathophysiology section viz;
Main page ME/CFS Pathophysiology - Immune system
Main Page ME/CFS Pathophysiology - Nervous system
Main page ME/CFS Pathophysiology - Hormonal system and Other
In doing the splitting i realised that the Endocrine edit was small and probably fitted best with Neurology and Nervous system, as in Sympathetic changes, so ended up with a different mix but for sake of clarity initially I will swap back. You can see the other version in History tomorrow. If we can get some consensus on how we want to split Pathophysiology and how many subarticles I can then prepare leads for each. Jagra (talk) 10:08, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- We might be able to come up with better topics later, but I definitely agree with designing it to break into pieces. I'm sorry that I've been inactive for the past few days. I've been paying the price for three consecutive days with physical activity. -- Strangelv (talk) 12:14, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Hypotheses
A first draft for a Hypotheses Article added for consideration and development. This is new material, mainly from reveiws, some consolidation with bits of Pathophysiology may be possible in longer term. Jagra (talk) 05:43, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] March 2008
Good idea I will move copy of pathophysiology to here Jagra (talk) 00:05, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
- Complication: We seem to have put our sandbox into the article/main namespace. We should either move it to this space or finish quickly and turn it into a redirect to somewhere. ...unless it gets speedily deleted on us with no warning when we're in the middle of trying to get the article sections into shape... -- Strangelv (talk) 04:15, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

- Wikipedia:Subpages#Disallowed uses seems to require its removal. Moving is listed as an option, but that doesn't apply here anymore. Let me look for some sort of admin-attracting speedy deletion template. We should probably copy this discussion page over before it gets deleted. -- Strangelv (talk) 03:59, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Citations
Checked for remastering and all clear, also checked clear between pathophysiology sections to enable split of pathophysiology. Jagra (talk) 01:51, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Deployment Checklist
- Reference formatting
- What else?
What does these articles need in addition to some reference tweaks? Are they almost ready to go? Is there a quick and easy way to go from a PMID hyperlink to a proper citation? -- Strangelv (talk) 10:50, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
- Jagra is most familiar with this page I believe. There are a number of PMID convectors. This is the one I know about. 16168155 ---> {{cite journal |author=Sullivan PF, Evengård B, Jacks A, Pedersen NL |title=Twin analyses of chronic fatigue in a Swedish national sample |journal=Psychol Med |volume=35 |issue=9 |pages=1327-36 |year=2005 |pmid=16168155 |doi=10.1017/S0033291705005222}}.

- The Pathophysiology draft is now formated and ready to post either as one huge article or 3 seperate Articles.
-
-
- Strangelv isn't sure how to remove just one of the two from the main article
