Do I guess rightly in saying that you typed up the text directly from your source? If so, that's a copyright violation and not at all allowed. If it's not, and if it's what you yourself wrote, I'm sorry, and your source will be restored. Nyttend (talk) 04:05, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

Your style of writing looks like something from a book (you're a good writer!), not as much an encyclopedia text. Frankly, when someone adds a big piece of text without any links or other formatting, as you did, it's usually a copyright violation. One thing that would be appreciated would be if you'd source your text better: it would be much more helpful if you would cite your sources more precisely, putting in page numbers for various incidents in the city's history. I'm sorry for frustrating you; you can see that your text is (with some changes) back on the page, without the "unreferenced" template. Nyttend (talk) 04:46, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
Just one thing: please leave the History above the other sections, as you can see in the Guidelines. Nyttend (talk) 05:09, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button Image:Signature_icon.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 04:48, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
