[edit] Bandidos

I have opened a sockpuppetry case against User:WiccaWeb and his puppets for their actions on the article and its talk page. Thought you should know.

Also, I've been meaning to reply to your email. I agree regarding a template for MC articles. It would reduce confusion and help make the articles better. I just created Wikipedia:WikiProject Motorcycling/Motorcycle club template as a place where we can work on same.

[edit] Whacky Engines Cat

I see you've been trying to bring sanity to the Revetec engine page. Do you think it is worth establishing a whacky engines cat or portal or project (I don't understand the difference) to try and ensure some uniformity of standards and notability and evidence across the various engines/investor scams we seem to have here on Wiki (eg Bourke engine). OK It'll need a better name. Greglocock (talk) 10:33, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

Well...I'm unsure if the engine is wacky or not. I do feel that revetec has tried to use Wikipedia for promotion. Most of the material is copied from the company web site. Without published results I think 90% should be deleted. Most of thier claims are completely speculative (by them) or impossible to verify.
I agree completely that there needs to be EVIDENCE. Without it I think the content should be removed. These characters seem to think wikipedia is a magazine where they can claim whatever they please. War (talk) 07:18, 14 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Spelling

FYI, the spelling is 'similar', not 'similiar'. Cheers, Ynhockey (Talk) 21:48, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

Indeed...I find that I often make the same set of spelling errors over and over. I wonder if my fingers have been trained to spell wrong. LOL.War (talk) 06:50, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Dawn Wells

Somehow I got sucked into a flame war with another editor. Frankly I could care less about the article. Therefore I'm going to ignore it and continue to focus topics in which I'm interested. Warning: If just about anyone adds a comment in this section I'll probably delete it, unless it adds considerable value. Also, after month or two, I'll delete this whole thing as I'm rather forget it entirely.

I think everyone realizes that you were not edit warring on that page. If you look a bit farther back in the edit history, I think you'll see that you stumbled in on an ongoing dispute. You are not the first editor to have issues with a certain user on that page. I actually had reported what I saw as POV pushing to the Biography Project. An Administrator had reverted his version and fixed the article. You just stumbled in on the tail end of the whole mess! No, it's not you! LOL!
I have to say - I got a kick out of reading your talk page history! LOL! Bizarre fixations? I have my own little theory on this. If you review the article's history, you'll find that a certain editor first started reverting my contributions right after I made this edit. Interesting? Isn't it?
