[edit] Income tax?

The latest edits have refs to income tax. I thought that was only levied in WW2 not WW1 - there was talk of "conscription" of capital and income but I did not think they put it into effect -haven't checked a source but coan someone please confirm?--A Y Arktos 07:54, 15 February 2006 (UTC)
