Portal talk:War/Did you know
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I wonder why the template is updated so randomly. For example, my articles on Dmitry Milyutin and Russo-Turkish War, 1828-1829 are among many that have been recently featured in the main WP:DYK, and yet they didn't make their way to the war portal. Mikhail Devyataev also comes to mind. Why, the articles on a major war and the last of imperial Field Marshals are not good enough to be represented in this template, but some obscure Polish colonel is? --Ghirla | talk 07:56, 16 February 2006 (UTC)
- Nothing too mysterious; I just don't get a chance to look through the main DYK list and update this every day. If there's something you'd like to have added, the easiest way is to link to it here (or just send me a message); otherwise, whether any particular article gets listed here depends on whether or not I check DYK that day. —Kirill Lokshin 14:08, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

- All the WP:DYK entries are listed in the archive. You may always find the missed entries at the bottom of Template_talk:Did you know? --Ghirla | talk 14:11, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

- I'm quite aware of that; however, there's a certain limit to how extensively I'm going to look at that on any given day ;-) —Kirill Lokshin 14:14, 16 February 2006 (UTC)
