[edit] Fair use rationale for WWF War Zone

It is believed that this image qualifies under fair use because:

  • It is used in a non-profit, educational context to aide in describing the video game that it serves as art for.
  • It is a low-resolution image and does not infringe upon the copyright holder's abilities to sell copies of the video game, which is no longer being produced and was published by a now-defunct game company. Since it is low resolution and unsuitable for professional duplication, it does not infringe upon WWE's rights to sell the photo in the art either.
  • No free equivalents are available because no box art for the game has been freely released.
