Monument to Prince Józef Poniatowski in Warsaw, by w:Bertel Thorvaldsen. Carved by the sculptor in w:1826-w:1827. Initially it stood in front of the w:Saski Palace. During w:World War II it was dismantled by the w:Germans and transferred to Germany. It was found undamaged after the war and transferred to its present location in front of the w:Presidential Palace.
