Note:
- Blackheath is included. "Blackheath" is the name of the ward in Lewisham, Blackheath covers two wards, immediately northeast is the ward of "Blackheath Westcombe" in the Greenwich borough.
- Catford is included, the name of the ward is "Catford South"
- Rushy Green covers central Catford.
- Lee is included, the name of the ward is Lee Green.
- Lewisham is included, the name of the ward is Lewisham Central
Wards have official boundaries. Their names are taken from the towns, villages, other places or main roads in their vicinity. However their borders may be, and usually are, different from what some regard as the borders of the actual towns, and different from post towns and past parishes.
