"Wanna Play" is a pop song written and produced by Andrea Martin and recorded by RBD for their fourth studio album (and first English album), Rebels. Ryan Seacrest confirmed in late 2006 that "Wanna Play" will be RBD's second English single. It was initially supposed to be released in January 2007, but due to the group touring again, still having to film for their new sitcom RBD: La Familia, and deciding to shoot a video for their next Spanish single, "Celestial", the date has been pushed back. However, Pedro Damian has stated that "Wanna Play" might be released as a single. The song was sent to U.S. radio in January 2007, but did not pick up much airplay. Fans believe the song has been cancelled, as the new U.S. single "Dame" has already been sent to radio in February 2007.

[edit] Song information

The music of the song has a very Latin feel to it, containing a Spanish guitar. Even though all the girls sing in the single, it is Maite Perroni that holds the lead female vocals. Alfonso Herrera and Christopher Uckermann do some adlibs together in the song.
