[edit] Leads
did you know that originally, meryl streep and jennifer aniston were supposed to play the leads in the film wanted. and unknown actor was supposed to play meryl streeps son. the 'unknown' had never acted on the big screen before his audition for the role of streeps son.
we still dont know why jolie ended up with the part. but personally, i think its bogus. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.25.36.132 (talk) 15:41, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] "primarily for a Russian viewer"
Bekmambetov states that the movie is made "primarily for a Russian viewer" and that the original (American) version has "music with a Russian spirit and American actors playing like ours [i.e. Russians - VZakharov] would do" in his interview to Vedomosti newspaper, see http://www.vedomosti.ru/newspaper/article.shtml?2008/03/26/144316 (in Russian)
I'm not too good in wikipediing, but I think this information is worth mentioning in the article.
