[edit] Should there be two pages for the same game?

run a wiki-search for "Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune" and "Maximum Tune"

They're very similar but isn't it the same thing? 24.4.12.213 01:45, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Shouldn't the 2 games be seperated?

The way that a lot of information is presented makes it look like one game, the title for the document is WMMT yet it describes characteristics of WMMT2 far more, I found it confusing.

I have started editing the page to accommodate both games without overlapping if possible. Caseh 09:00, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
I dont know enough about WMMT2 so I will have to leave that to someone else. Caseh 09:23, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] External Links

Would someone please fix the external links section? I am not too experienced with the coding and tagging on wikis, and I could not figure out how to get it to align all the way to the left.

I don't suppose anyone can compile a list of titles that can be obtained in WMMT and WMMT2?

-there are still many that aren't confirmed how to get, but here's a pretty good list: http://www.initial-d.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18457

>> I don't think titles would be a good idea in Wikipedia, mostly because there are so many and it's more or less a side-note of the game itself. Rather, how about a full list of car models available in the game? There are about 30 if I recall correctly? 35 including hidden cars and the Gemballa? EDIT: Added the list. Please correct if necessary.

>>> Where did you get that list? There are a bunch of errors on it. I'm going to fix it for you. ^^^ I found it at the link above. It lists the chassis codes so I took some time to match the codes up with their counterparts. I didn't realize I made so many errors on it, but thanks a TON for correcting it and formatting it! It looks awesome!

>>>>Alright, finished the car list. I also marked the cars that are new to version 2, the cars that are only available in Time Attack, and the cars that are only available in the Japanese or English versions.

No problem, that's what this is all about, right? Anyway, does anyone think my current formatting (as of july 26 2006) is a little bit too busy? any suggestions?

It looks fine by me. However, seeing that there are over 200 different titles, you can only put a couple of representative ones only. --Blackhawk charlie2003 04:01, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] More hidden cars?

Aren't there more hidden cars in WMMT2? I use the Corolla and Celsior. Someone put the code up. I forgot the code. Long time ago since I got the Corolla.

[edit] Max Horse Power

I Cant seem to find any information on how much horse power is available with the cars, how much HP can a car get?.=Answer=800PS

Maximum Tune 2 increases that amount to 815PS/HP. Maximum Tune 3 replaces the 815PS/HP tuning with 820PS/HP. 69.129.197.209 06:44, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] References

This page could do with more footnotes and in-text citation. References are cited at the end, but none of the statements in the article are tied to any of the references in particular. Also, the initial-d forum page requires registration even to use. Not particularly authoritative sources, either. -- Exitmoose 06:28, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Origin of the English-compatible Gemballas?

I've heard that they were created using a hacked copy of the game on an emulator, and I've also heard that they were simply made from discards from the Japanese version of the game (much more plausible, thus the current edit). Does anyone know for sure? 69.129.197.209 10:02, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] secret cars

For the R2 Pick the SUBARU brand then select the【ALCYONE】 then enter these with ur Shift 6-4-6-4-6-4-6-4-6-4-6-4.

R2 is the little car that u see on the freeway with the HiAcen and Corolla. Please note it starts with a low horse power of 50.

[edit] Keeping only the known things

I've removed the list of dress-up parts and several of the "secret car" stuff. The Dress-up parts list is only a user-created stuff, but hardly being published anywhere including the Japanese article or the 2ch thread at WMMT3 2ch thread.

The second issue is the "secret car" stuff. Except the known ones, unless you've got a photo / screen capture stating that you can get another car out (like the TOYOACE truck), don't add it here.--Blackhawk charlie2003 02:10, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
