Wampus Multimedia

Wampus Multimedia is an American media company founded by artist and producer Mark Doyon. Wampus has released modern rock and folk albums internationally from Arms of Kismet, tvfordogs, Cafebar 401, Amateur God, Alice Despard, Casey Abrams, Johnny J. Blair, Neil Luckett, The Crowd Scene, Kowtow Popof, Wampeters, and others. It also has released the compilation CDs Hurry Home Early: the Songs of Warren Zevon (2005), After Hours: a Tribute to the Music of Lou Reed (2003), and If I Were a Richman: a Tribute to the Music of Jonathan Richman (2001).

In 2005, Wampus expanded its record label to include the reissue imprint Foldback Records.

In 2006, Wampus partnered with French distributor Mobipocket to publish eBooks for PDAs and smartphones. Wampus published the literary magazine Friction Quasi-Quarterly from 1989 to 1994.
