Walter von Bonstetten (June 5, 1867 - November 4, 1949) was an early Swiss Guide and Scout Movement Scouting notable.
Von Bonstetten served on the World Scout Committee of the World Organization of the Scout Movement from 1927 until 1947.
He was awarded the Bronze Wolf, the only distinction of the World Organization of the Scout Movement, awarded by the World Scout Committee for exceptional services to world Scouting, in 1937.
He served as Chief Scout of Switzerland during the 1920s where he founded the "Scouts International Home" Association in 1923 later to be known as Kandersteg International Scout Centre.
