Walter Sisulu University for Technology and Science

Walter Sisulu University for Technology and Science is a university in the Eastern Cape Province,South Africa, which came into existence on 1 July 2005 as a result of a merger between Border Technikon, Eastern Cape Technikon, and the University of Transkei. The university is named for Walter Sisulu, a prominent figure in the struggle against apartheid.

The university is organised by faculty:

  • Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology
  • Faculty of Health Sciences
  • Faculty of Business Management Sciences & Law
  • Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
  • Faculty of Education

The current acting vice-chancellor is Nicholas Morgan.
