Walter A. Maier

Walter A. Maier (October 4, 1893-1950) was a Lutheran theologian and editor.
He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1893. In 1920, he became the editor of the Walther League Messenger, and continued in that capacity through 1945. Starting in 1930, he would also serve as one of the preachers on The Lutheran Hour, a position he would remain in until the year of his death, 1950.
