Walt Bond

Walt Bond (October 19, 1937 - September 14, 1967) was a professional baseball player from 1960 to 1967. His first three years were with the Cleveland Indians, where he played as a backup outfielder. Bond spent the 1964 and 1965 seasons with the Houston Astros, where was their starting first baseman. In 1967 he played briefly with the Minnesota Twins before his death. His career batting average was .256.
